Welcome

The Gemstone Program was conceived by Dr. William Destler, formerly Dean of the A. James Clark School of Engineering and later Provost of the University of Maryland. He is now President of Rochester Institute of Technology. Now in its thirteenth year, the Gemstone Program has had nine graduating classes receive their Gemstone Citations.
