Gemstone Mentor Progress Report

At the end of each semester, please submit a brief progress report on your team to the Gemstone Coordinator of Team Research by e-mail. This report should address the progress that your team is making, both about how the team is getting along and handling the group work as well as how the team is progressing towards their final project and thesis. Please use the Team Timeline for Success as a guideline for where the team should be each semester.

Specifically, in your report, please address:

• What are the big accomplishments your team has achieved this semester?
• How is your team progressing towards their goals relevant to the Timeline for Team Success?
• How are your team members getting along with one another? Discuss the team's process.
• What are the challenges your team is facing?
• What are the challenges you as their mentor are now facing with your team?
• How have you as the mentor addressed these or other issues this semester?
• What additional staff assistance, if any, do you need?
