The students presented results for Team LEGS’ research, “Effect of Collagen Organization on Tensile Strength Loss in ACL Grafts Post-Reconstruction Surgery”. The research aims to compare morphological differences among ACL graft replacements following materials testing to replicate continuous passive knee motion. By identifying the relationship between tissue structure and tension loss, the team hopes to improve predictions of graft performance in terms of tension loss post-ACL reconstruction surgery.
